Our Experiences

i). Advocacy to promote use of Active Management of Third Stage Labour (AMTSL) for prevention of postpartum hemorrhage in Emuhaya Sub county Vihiga County Western Kenya, supported by Constella Futures Small Grants Access Project

ii). Advocacy to Pilot Research project to promote use of misoprostol for prevention of Postpartum hemorrhage dispensed by retired nurse midwives at community level in Emuhaya Vihiga County Western Kenya Supported by Venture Strategies Innovations (VSI)USA

iii). Advocacy to promote correct use of information of misoprostol for promotion of safe motherhood in Starehe Nairobi County supported by Public Health Institute USA through Center for Adolescent Studies.

vi). Advocacy to prevent Gender Based Violence against IDPs in Butere/Mumias Kakamega County Western Kenya supported by GTZ Kenya Health Projects.

vii). Promoting Information, Education Communication (IEC) and services in Reproductive Health and Family Planning Nairobi County.

viii). Advocacy to increase uptake of counseling and Testing of HIV and Comprehensive Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV services and counseling and testing services for prevention of mother to child transmission in Kakamega County Supported by National AIDs Control Council (NACC).

ix) Capacity building in Organisational Development Strengthening systems for civil society organizations implementing HIV/AIDs in Western Kenya
