To improve the social and economic health status of the communities by working with communities in targeted areas in order to build their capacities and capability to address socio economic health status.
OHERS main goal is to build the capacity and capability of communities by increasing access to knowledge, skills and resources to improve their standards of living. The organization focuses on the improvement of communities through various program interventions. OHERS enhances community capacity to advocate for quality services, access and utilization of knowledge and skills so as to be responsible to issues affecting them in the areas of health, HIV/AIDS reproductive health and rights, gender STI, poverty eradication, malaria, Tuberculosis, nutrition and water and sanitation. OHERS promotes research thorugh implemetation of evidence based projects.
